Caught up with man about town, Derek, today. He laughed about my humble Mochi Jungle and then took me to Sushi Ten, where we ate the salmon don, talked nappies and reminisced about the long gone party days.
Anyway, don’t let this terrible blurry photo fool you. Behind the fuzzy lens is the most amazing salmon don that you will ever come across – at least in Melbourne. I can’t say how it compares to the sashimi at the Tsukiji Fish Market.
The salmon: fresh, melt in your mouth, generous portions, accompanied by a giant glob of wasabi. Heaven.

The best salmon don you can find in Melbourne! Nothing can beat this big bowl of salmon don!!! Japanese eat this as their breakfast daily to give then energy to work for the day!! Taste much better than our…..weetbix! Lol!!!
