31 Spring Street, Melbourne | www.namanama.com.au
I have been dealing with the brutality of my return to work this week, after a beautiful 3 week hiatus, by splurging on lunch everyday. Today has been no exception. I ventured up to Spring Street to what is Nama Nama, a fantastic little Japanese restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I got their bento, with king fish sashimi, five grain rice and picked ginger onigiri, teriyaki eel and bitter melon, potato and broccolini salad and miso marinated salmon fillet on rice, with a few other picked bits. There are about a million different combinations that you can get with their bento. Actually, it’s 243, I just did the math. So for the indecisive ones out there, just ask for a surprise bento.

The kingfish sashimi, unwrapped!
This is seriously the best bento you will find around town. Total freshness, totally filling and totally satisfying. And on a warm day you can walk across Spring St and enjoy it at the Treasury Gardens.
