White Guy Cooks Thai is currently hanging around Yarrville-Seddon. Well, it was Yarraville two nights ago, Seddon last night, Footscray tonight, where we chased him down! Or rather found him, he was stationary, so it wasn’t much of a chase.
After another epic nanna nap by the entire family we didn’t end up getting to the truck until 7:30pm, by which time most of the meals were sold out, including the soft shell crab. Boo! So we ended up getting the beef massaman curry and chicken and water chestnut gyoza. Total yum! The flavours were fresh, packed a punch and the food was filling yet light. It was the best massaman curry I’ve ever had; the best gyoza too, aside from my mum’s ones!
Check out their facebook page so that you can chase them too. The plan for us tomorrow is to not sleep in the afternoon, see if they will be nearby and hopefully try the soft shell crab. Fingers crossed!
And yes, the guy in the truck cooking was white.
