Cheap eats as they should be: cheap, big, filling and tasty. This definitely isn’t fine dining, but for $13 for a set meal of a main, miso, mini sides and a salad, you can’t complain. We ordered three entrees, agedashi tofu, takoyaki and panko ebi, a katsu chicken curry set meal and the tempura ramen – we’d rate them in that order too, with the agedashi tofu being the best.
I wouldn’t order the ramen again, probably stick to rice dishes here, the ramen was just soggy noodles in a salty broth. Although there were a lot of noodles! And in truth, I would only come here again if I lived or worked nearby.
Not a bad place for a cheap feed and decent food. It’s just a bit in the middle of nowhere to make it worthwhile coming again.
